Stream Way

Project Scope: Exterior Facade Renovation
Location: Camarillo, CA

Overview and Opportunity
With the exception of the existing pool footprint, the Stream Drive backyard was completely reimagined to better support the homeowners’ lifestyle. As frequent hosts of both large gatherings and relaxed Sunday barbecues, they needed an outdoor space that could comfortably accommodate a variety of occasions while still feeling inviting for everyday use.

The opportunity was to transform the existing backyard into a series of intentional, connected spaces for lounging, dining, entertaining, and outdoor cooking. The goal was to maximize the functionality of the property while creating a cohesive environment that could easily transition from casual family time to larger social gatherings.

Results
The backyard was completely renovated around the existing pool, with new concrete, updated landscaping, and low-maintenance turf replacing the original lawn. A fire pit was added to create a central gathering space, while multiple seating areas throughout the yard provided flexibility for both intimate conversations and larger groups.

A gazebo was incorporated to create a dedicated outdoor cooking and entertaining area, giving the homeowners a functional space for preparing meals while remaining connected to their guests. The result is a backyard designed for the way the homeowners truly live—equally suited for relaxed Sunday barbecues, everyday enjoyment, and large gatherings with family and friends.
